2013 – Tutors: Leif Broderssen & Terese Selberg. A water research centre outside Dubrovnik, Croatia. Including laboratories, offices, library, auditorium, visitors centre, café, facilities for guest researchers etc. Located next to the river Ombla, by the Bosnian border, in the ruins of the former water plant of Dubrovnik which was demolished during the war.

With obvious inspiration from Toyo Ito’s Tama Art University Library in Tokyo. The arches help create a seemingly fragile structure protected by and in contrast to the heavy walls of the ruin.
